Student Checking
Our Student Checking won’t drag you down with fees or limited features. Students enrolled in college full-time can have their checking with no monthly service charge and no required minimum balance – and like our other checking accounts, you can add Smart Branch online banking and Bill Payer for no extra monthly charge. Write up to 15 checks per month with no per-check charge, and use your free debit card as often as you’d like!

Classic Drafts
With a Classic Drafts account, there is no minimum balance requirement and you can write up to 50 checks each month with no per-check charge. If you Direct Deposit your pay to The Tennessee Credit Union or maintain a $1,000 balance, you avoid the monthly service charge of $7.00.

ADDITIONAL CHECKING SERVICES

Debit/ATM Card
The Clear Card® allows you to debit your checking anywhere in the world that MasterCard® is accepted. It can also be used to access your funds at any STAR, CIRRUS, CO-OP Network or REFLEX® machine and at ATMs with a MasterCard,Visa, Discover, or American Express logo.

ATM Access
At The Tennessee Credit Union REFLEX machines, checking withdrawals are free and unlimited. You can make two checking withdrawals from non-TTCU ATMs each month at no charge from TTCU. Surcharges (fees charged by the ATM owner) may apply if the ATM is outside of CO-OP Network.

Overdraft Protection
When you add Overdraft Protection to your account, you can save yourself the hassle of bounced checks and non-sufficient funds. You can tie your checking account to designated savings or money market accounts, a personal line of credit, or a home equity line of credit.

Privileged Assurance

Privileged Assurance is a special overdraft benefit to protect our members from unanticipated expenses or unforeseen problems that can sometimes leave you with too little cash in your Share Draft account. Privileged Assurance protection is automatically applied to qualifying Benefits Plus and Classic Drafts checking accounts.

If you would like to remove Privileged Assurance protection from your account, please complete this removal form and return it to your local TTCU branch.
