Order a copy of your report from each credit bureau to review for other fraudulent activity.
Contact Your Financial Institutions:
Review account history for possible fraudulent activity.
Work with the fraud departments at your financial institutions to protect your account.
In addition, contact your local TTCU branch, even if your TTCU account is not affected, to let us know that your financial information has been compromised.
File a Police Report:
Contact your local police or the police in the community where the theft took place.
Obtain a copy of the report.
File a Report with the Government:
File a report at
www.ftc.gov
or call the Federal Trade Commission at 877-ID-THEFT (438-4338).
