When you add Overdraft Protection to your account, you can save yourself the hassle of bounced checks and non-sufficient funds. You can tie your checking account to designated savings or money market accounts, a personal line of credit or a home equity line of credit.
With our busy lives, it’s easy to make mistakes such as forgetting to deposit a check, make a transfer, or deduct your last debit charge from your balance. A simple error or balance miscalculation can lead to an unexpected shortage of funds. The Tennessee Credit Union may have the solution you’re looking for with our Privileged Assurance program.
Privileged Assurance is not a line of credit. However, if you inadvertently overdraw your account, we will have the discretion to pay the overdraft, subject to your Privileged Assurance.
Fees may be imposed for overdrafts created by check, ACH, Point-of-Sale, ATM withdrawals and in-person withdrawals.
Go to Privileged Assurance Details
The Tennessee Credit Union will not pay overdrafts for ATM or everyday debit card transactions unless you have given your consent by opting in to the payment of these overdrafts.
