Help TTCU Collect Gently-Used School Clothing for MNPS

Did your children receive new school clothes during the holidays?
Are you trying to reorganize for the New Year?

If so, please consider donating your gently used school clothing to UniCycle, a volunteer-run program that coordinates the collection and redistribution of “outgrown, not worn out” Standard School Attire (SSA) within Metro Nashville Public Schools.

What we need:
SSA is a requirement of MNPS schools for students K-12 and is a basic “uniform” of a solid-colored, collared shirt paired with khaki, black or navy pants, shorts, skirt or a dress. Many MNPS families struggle to meet these requirements due to financial strain, and the burden is most extreme on the approximately 3,000 students who experience homelessness at some point in each school year.   NEW black or white socks, along with girls tights of any color are also always in need, and sales are everywhere.

Drop your donations at our collection locations at two TTCU branches – Rivergate Branch (917 Rivergate Parkway in Goodlettsville) and the Main Nashville Office (1400 8th Ave. South, Nashville).

We hope you can take a moment to share your blessings with others in our community as we begin 2018. Wishing you a Happy New Year!

THANK YOU for any help you can provide!
