In Memoriam: Dr. James E. Barrick
We remember and honor the memory of Dr. James E. Barrick, a member of our TTCU family who passed away on March 18, 2017. Dr. Barrick served on the Board of Directors for The Tennessee Credit Union for more than 35 years.
His long and remarkable career included working for Nashville public schools for 36 years and serving as principal at Highland Heights, Goodlettsville High School, and executive principal at Glencliff High School when he retired in 1982. Dr. Barrick was an active member of Belmont United Methodist Church, where he served as a teacher, volunteer and as a member of the Board of Trustees.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for Dr. Barrick’s tireless commitment and loyalty to The Tennessee Credit Union over the years. His passing leaves us with a deep sense of sadness. We will miss his warmth, his character and his dedication.
All of us at The Tennessee Credit Union extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, Dorothy, and to his entire family during this sorrowful time.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25 from 12-1:30 PM at Belmont United Methodist Church, 2007 Acklen Avenue, Nashville. Service following at 1:30 PM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Belmont United Methodist Church.
