Ladling Up Fun at the 5th Annual Nashville Chili Festival!
Chili fans came together in East Nashville to support a good cause on Sunday, March 26. The Tennessee Credit Union was a primary sponsor and was ‘Ladling Up’ fun and Kasasa cash back checking account rewards. The event attracted 12 chili teams, 11 lively businesses, and over 300 attendees.
The fundraiser benefitted Community Shares Tennessee, which is a statewide coalition of non-profit organizations that address a variety of issues, including support for a clean environment, affordable health care, good jobs, culture, art and freedom from violence.
Everyone worked hard to ensure the large crowd of chili enthusiasts received a taste of what the community had to offer, while enjoying great food and live music. The event was held at The Basement East and helped raise over $5,000 for a great cause.
TTCU was proud to be a part of the festivities and enjoyed meeting everyone! The Grand Champion of the Nashville Chili Festival is The District Bar & Kitchen at Hotel Indigo in Nashville, which took home the grand prize and a giant trophy.
