TTCU presents check for $4,806.05 at Children’s Miracle Network’s Telethon
The Tennessee Credit Union's Lisa Carlisle, Business Development Manager, was on hand to present our $4,806.05 check to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during its Annual Telethon on Sunday, June 4. The telethon was broadcast live from Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt on CBS News Channel 5.
During the program, CMN and the Children’s Hospital publicly thanked its various corporate partners who hosted campaigns, events, and programs to raise funds for the CMN & Children’s Hospital throughout the year. The Tennessee Credit Union offered a SPECIAL THANK YOU to our members and our TTCU staff for participating in our Jeans Day promotion and various member/branch drives last year to help raise donations for CMN.
Impressive telethon results are now in! The 33rd annual Children's Miracle Network Hospitals telethon has wrapped up, and the amount raised broke the previous record! Results after Sunday’s Telethon showed $3.1 million had been raised for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. That beat 2016's total of $2.7 million.
Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is recognized as one of the top children's hospitals in America, dedicated to serving only children. The hospital works to treat and prevent all health issues ranging from common childhood conditions to serious, advanced diseases.
