TTCU Presents Workshop at 2016 Institute for CTE Educators in Nashville
The Tennessee Department of Education holds ‘The Institute for CTE Educators’ on July 11-15, 2016 at the Music City Center in Nashville. The theme for this year’s Institute is College & Career Roadmap: Developing the Ready Student.
With this theme in mind, the sessions are centered on preparing students for postsecondary and career readiness. The focus is on the student experience in the classroom and will provide teachers with tools they can use in preparing their students for postsecondary and career pursuits.
TTCU is honored to be invited to conduct a workshop entitled, "Power of the Business Partner: Beyond the Classroom." The session is scheduled on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 1:20 PM – Room 103B.
The topic description follows: The Tennessee Credit Union Academy of Business & Finance and The Tennessee Credit Union have a powerful partnership. Attend this session to learn how we take the students in this Academy beyond the classroom. This session will discuss experiential learning (guest speakers, industry field trips, job shadows, internships and externships) and Industry Certifications.
