TTCU raises $1,800 with its Employee Silent Auction on Oct. 25
This internal TTCU event raised donations for the American Cancer Society & Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
TTCU’s Becky Cook Breast Cancer Awareness Silent Auction was held on Wednesday, October 25 exclusively for TTCU employees. It was a great success, raising over $1,800 in donations for the American Cancer Society and the Making Strides against Breast Cancer charity.
Bidding was intense and lively during the 4-hour bidding period. The TTCU Silent Auction included items such as a Titans Game Day basket, Lady Vols Vintage basket, Nashville Zoo Family pass, Bose Bluetooth speaker, delicious Gigi’s cupcakes, Classic Games package and more – many of the items were donated by local business partners and by our TTCU staff members. Of particular note, were 11 custom pens crafted by TTCU’s President & CEO Michael Martin, which he donated to the event.
There was a dessert table with homemade cookies and treats available for purchase that were baked by TTCU staff. Employees were able to wear jeans and pink shirts to get into the spirit of the day.
At the end, everyone agreed it was a fun event and the lucky winners walked away with some great gifts. It was all for a worthy cause as every donation went directly to the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
We at TTCU extend our heartfelt and sincere appreciation for the donated items and to our TTCU employees who made the silent auction a success -- many of whom are pictured below.
